About us
Who We Are
PublicHealth.Africa (PHA) is a community-led initiative dedicated to advancing public health through high-quality education, open science, and equitable publishing. Guided by a shared commitment to knowledge equity and empowerment, PHA is supported by African public health professionals, researchers, educators, and organizations working to advance public health across the continent. Our work builds on recent achievements, including the successful delivery of the 2024 COPPHA Peer Review and 2025 COPPHA Open Publishing courses, which engaged hundreds of participants from over 40 countries and demonstrated the impact of inclusive, open education.
